I have a new guilty pleasure and it is the Mocha Ice Crema at Dunn Bros. Coffee on Metcalf. It has gotten to the point where I don't just drop in while running errands. I make it my primary destination. The jute sacks of coffee are stacked up in the corner next to the roaster, and I was pleased to walk in today and find the barrista roasting expresso beans. He was happy to share what he was doing. Otherwise, I found what I expected to find at a franchise coffee shop. Natural decor colors with coffee color accents, a kind of gas fire burning in stone fireplace. Soft seating as well as group tables provide ample seating. They have some computers for casual use as well as free wi-fi (I'm using it now.) Why go across the street to Starbucks and pay for wi-fi when it is free here?
