Overland Park Kansas Sheraton Hotel
Inc. (HOT) has announced the opening of the Overland Park Sheraton Hotel, the largest hotel in Kansas City, Kansas. The $68 million, 412-room hotel is connected by a closed walkway to the newly opened 1,000-square-foot Overland Park Convention Center, which hosts a variety of events.
The three main components of the convention center include the 1,000 square foot Overland Park Convention Center, a 2,500-seat auditorium, and the 2.5-acre Sheraton Hotel. Designed by the Kansas City Convention and Visitors Bureau (KCCB), the center offers a variety of events for the local community, including concerts, fairs, conventions, conferences and other events.
The hotel's 13 meeting rooms can accommodate a total of 2,000 people and had its first meeting with the Kansas City Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The hotel rooms feature a living room with fireplace, a private dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are furnished with ergonomic chairs and a variety of entertainment options.
The conference rooms are wired with Cat5 Ethernet with a special T-1 line, which provides fast Internet access to the convention center and other facilities. Other amenities include an indoor pool with lighting and a light-flooded indoor pool. The congress centre has security systems - electronic door locks that allow guests to surf the Internet and check emails.
The hotel will also offer a service guarantee, where guests with problems are repaired on site if possible and compensated. Dissatisfied guests only need to inform a hotel employee that they will automatically receive a refund for their preferred hotel rate - the hotel's frequent flyer program.
In recognition of the convocation, the organization and its link to the website will be published for two years, as well as the name and address of the hotel owner and operator.
Each level of promotion and organization is recognized in the program, recognized by the Master of Ceremonies and published on the hotel's website and on the hotel's website. The resulting illuminated glass icon tower will mark the main entrance to the center and provide the brand with a visual connection to the city of Kansas City, Kansas and the Kansas State University campus. Various opaque and transparent glass panes surround the outside of the tower, the most prominent piece of which is a 35-foot sculpture of blown glass hanging from the top of a two-story tower at the foot of each tower. These different panels, enclosed in a series of glass columns, give more meaning to the iconostasis.
